Default Mitch Eliot

Just read on the Ohl site that 20 year old Mitch Eliot has decided to commit to the Sting. He is a 20 year old defenceman who is about to make his debut tomorrow night. How is this fair so late in the season.

I read that earlier on the Sarnia Hockey board site some wrote that they thought the Hunters only pulled this crap.

He's not an overager and if he was he would not be eligible due to the Mike Van Ryn rule.

If they own his rights and he ‘decides’ to report so be it ... we would be thrilled if some of our NCAA guys finally reported

I don’t know much about this guy ... was he already in NCAA or is he giving up a potential scholarship to play 1/3 of a season in the O?

I suspect it’s the former and not the latter ...
