I'm not in the buy camp. I'm just saying if they choose to buy, I will support it. I have also heard Ritchie to London for Kyle Platzer +

From what I have read, we'll know what the NHL is doing long before the 10th and even with a CBA done the entry rules look to stay the same, that is good for Niagara. I doubt teams will burn a contract year on 48 games.
Except for the Islanders who have a tendency to go against the grain.

For anyone who wants to see what this team will look like after we make trades you should be watching the game from the Soo. These guys look pathetic. I think we will be going from a top notch franchise the past 5 years to a bottom team.

Ritchie being traded would be a best case scenario. If it's to London then hopefully we can do some re-stocking of the cupboard. If even one of SRT gets moved out, that's a big positive. That's why I'm cheering every point Ryan Strome, or DHam or Ritchie can get at the World Juniors, b/c that ups their trade value. I'm sure this will make Marty's phone calls to potential trade partners a lot easier.

They played fairly well in Sudbury. It was our Second game in two nights while the Soo was rested.

I for one am not in the sell camp. Put the best team on the ice every year. I doubt there's the level of returns out there this year that everyone thinks there is. With London as strong as they are what teams do you think are willing to burn a lot of picks or players to try and compete? The offers for any of the 3 are going to be very weak IMO. If Niagara as a 3rd place conference team turn's to selling, how many other teams are going to try and do the same if everyone feels London is invincible. I mean why wouldn't every team below us try to sell off there 19 and 20 year old's as well. I think if Niagara is a seller and throws in the towel, so will a lot of others and it will be a buyers market will little offered in return.
This team was playing great exiting hockey b4 the WJC. I myself would prefer to watch the rest of the season with all 3 back in the lineup. I thought some of the games this year were more exciting than last year. We could go 2 maybe 3 series deep into the playoffs while watching Strome Ritchie and Dougie finish there OHL carriers here. I just love watching that top line, Ritchie is so strong on the puck especially at the boards, I'll take that any day, even if for only the balance of this year, over the crap shoot of 4th & higher round draft picks.
Stock the cupboard - yeah right. If they turn to sellers we'll see what the cupboard looks like at the end of the day - don't be surprised if it's Old Mother Hubbard's.

We will not go 2 or 3 rounds deep even with the big three all back...we are not deep enough.

I'm 100 per cent in the sell camp, but to say this team can't go 2 or 3 rounds if they stay the course is just silly. This is the second best team in the east right now after Barrie and Barrie isn't that much better. The first line gives them at least a chance to beat any team in the league.

I guess we will just have to wait and see....I would not empty what's left in our cupboards to win a round or two in the playoffs...we would never improve enough through trades to compete with the west anyways...so what's the point? A chance to win the lowely East? Been there done that...rather start building for the future.

You actually think we can beat London or Owen Sound with one line.?
