I double-checked this week, there are FOUR games scheduled, including a double dose of Sudbury:

Thu, Mar 17 NIAG @ BAR 7:30 PM
Sat, Mar 19 SBY @ NIAG 7:00 PM
Sun, Mar 20 SBY @ NIAG 2:00 PM

The IceDogs remain in last place overall, 4 points from 19th ranked Saginaw, and 10 points from 9th in the East Sudbury. After 52 games, Niagara is suffering a 0.317 win record, or if you like bigger numbers that is a 0.683 loss record.

According to the OHL site, 4 Eastern Conference teams have already clinched a playoff position. Spoiler alert: Niagara was not one of them.

I?m surprised the northern teams don?t do a back to back like this even just once a year for a couple opponents ? would save a lot of bus miles and hours for the team, however, as a fan I am not crazy about it . I will go to the Saturday evening affair and skip out on the dreaded Sunday afternoon game(s) . . .

Hoping Gushcin and Fimis are both back as they are both a treat to watch.

Apparently Billy left the bench with help not sure what happened. Plus a linesman got hurt up by two in the third.
