Game Thread Peterborough Petes @ Niagara IceDogs - Sunday, 2018.03.04 - 2pm

The battle for the muddy middle - a true game of thrones...

Niagara IceDogs
5th in the East after 61 games with 66 points, 28-23-7-3 or 0.541%
Scoring: Miletic 32-52, Thomas 20-51, Maksimov 32-35
Goaltending: Incze 20GP, 2.88GAA( - ), 0.912%( - )
Goaltending: Dhillon 47GP, 3.44GAA(16th), 0.896%(17th)

Peterborough Petes:
9th in the East after 60 games with 50 points, 22-32-3-3 or 0.417%
Scoring: Korostelev 25-42, DeNoble 25-18, Gogolev 26-13
Goaltending: Wells 51GP, 3.45GAA(18th), 0.901%(12th)

Niagara has struggled with Peterborough all year despite the differential in the standings. In the four game series, the Pete's are ahead with two wins in three games. The IceDogs managed to eke out a point during their 4-3 overtime loss last game, but will they emerge with a win this time? Has Colton Incze earned his spot as a starter or will the coach keep Dhillon in place?

I'll go out on the limb to get things going.....

We have 7 games left in the schedule and Colton Incze (on my team) starts 6 of the 7 games.

Dhillon gets the start in Erie on Friday March 16th. It is the middle game of a three in three days.

Ok, let's have at it.

I agree ... IMHO SD should be backup now until / if CI drops the ball. I thought CI looked solid Friday night

Looks like the Petes just punched the dogs and batallions tickets to the postseason tonight. Maybe the boys will settle down now

We might be dealing with a ticked off team tomorrow Peterborough gave up 5 goals in 3 minutes in the third and Wells didn’t play I’d expect him to be pumped to play at home for the last time in his OHL career
