Yeah, I doubt he will re-sign with Gibbons running the show. Although his record in the playoffs is nothing to write home about, who cares about what he does in the regular season.

I'm sure there is a reason he made that call. I don't think he wasted an opportunity by having Price not available to start game 5. At 0-6 in the playoffs he wouldn't be my go to guy for a game 5 regardless of if he came into as a reliever last night or not. I believe this makes him available to come out of the bullpen tomorrow which in turn gives the jays 2 aces to throw at Texas for game 5

Price is 0-6 as a starter in the playoffs. He has wins as a reliever. It was a blowout... there was no need to go to the pen. Dickey was pitching just fine, only allowed 1 run. With Cecil gone for the year it leaves Loup as the only left out of the pen. Gibbons has already said that Price will not be available in game 5. If he would've left Dickey in they could've used Price as an additional lefty in game 5 when a match-up called for one.

Instead he brings him in for no reason, lets him throw 50 pitches and makes him unavailable for game 5. Now the only lefty out of the pen will be Loup again.

From what I heard on the radio it doesn't sound like Loup will be available tomorrow. "Personal matters" to deal with...must be serious to miss two elimination playoff games on back to back days

That 7th inning was one of the most spectacular and weirdest innings I've ever seen. No, it was THE most.

Wow what a game.

Not to me... That still goes to the (not called) Triple play made by Devon White in the 3rd game of the '92 World Series...

Ah. I wasn't watching them back then. I started watching them awhile back probably 15yrs ago.. followed them for a few seasons then lost interest when all my fave guys were no longer on the team. Haven't followed them since then.
