I'll take the first kick at the can...

How long will Kyle Dubas keep his GM job?
The GM typically fires the coaches but today, Shannahan did the dirty deed.
Or, was Lamarello heavily involved in the Babcock hiring, so, Shanny took care of it?

Who said it was strictly shannahan doing the firing everyone was involved including Dubas? As for how long he lasts Iíd say end of the season depending on where they end up standing wise this team isnít that good period

I never wrote that it was all Shannahan, what I wrote was that Shanni made the announcement.

When they don’t win the cup again this year, heck they may not even make the playoffs, then the boy genius will be canned

He has seriously screwed up their cap, they still have a below average defense, oh and they don’t have an nhl caliber backup goalie

I love it

I think this year may be junked, but I also think there’s been conflict between Kyle Dubas and Babcock since Day 1. I don’t mean that they’ve come to blows, I just think those two were oil and water. A team can’t move forward when the navigator and the pilot can’t agree.

Lots of hockey left to be played but at the moment Toronto, Ottawa and New Jersey are the only teams with a below :500 record in the Eastern Conference. Tampa Bay has 5 games in hand on the Leafs.Lots of blame to go around in Toronto.
I'm with Stroh's, below average defence, no backup and soft forwards......and serious salary cap issues in the near future thanks to the young Einstein GM
