Rod Mawhood tweeted this out last night:

"Entering play Sunday the #IceDogs lead the #OHL in goals scored (212), have three scorers in the top-10 (Robertson, Jones and Thomas - league high/best) and also now feature the top powerplay which is clicking at 28.2 percent."

Not too shabby at all.

Not too shabby at all but, I wonder why the shorties that they continue to give up is rarely mentioned. That is a concern for me.

It happens especially is junior hockey look at the “contenders” this year all but Saginaw (Sudbury and Soo have less as well I just don’t see them as contenders) have the same amount of shorthanded goals against or more (Ottawa 11 Oshawa 8 London 8 Guelph 7)

I still think it happens too often here in Niagara to suit me.
IT's on discipline, first being on the player and most importantly the coaching staff.

Just drives me over the wall, these dumb shorties.

A lot of things drive people over the wall in junior hockey that’s what makes it great (the mistakes and learning process)

That is why we have practices to work on our mistakes and lack of concentration...
