Hopefully, Fishfan will educate us on this topic. I have always been curious about these inter-league transfers. But, just to lazy to look into it. LOL

So, money coming back, players? I don’t know. I don’t see many trades between Leagues.
I had a quick look at the QMJHL standings from last year and the AB Titan were the last place team at the end of the year. I suspect that Sbrags was put on waivers in the OHL and no one claimed him which then opened him up to an inter-league transfer and the Titan claimed him off that waiver. Most likely nothing received for him (unless there is some sort of development fee or Tim's card coming back).

Daniel Murphy Ready to Backstop a Resurgent IceDogs' Team
https://niagaraicedogs.net/article/d...t-icedogs-team

“I knew the situation in Erie wasn’t going to work out for me, so it’s really exciting going to an organization with a great rink, a great place to be, and on a team that’s going to be on the up-and-coming in a couple of years,” Murphy said. “It was just really exciting to hear someone value you and then trade for you.”

Enright Ready to Roll

Enright has taken full advantage of the extra down time with the OHL season in limbo due to the COVID-19 pandemic by working out four times a week in the gym and on the ice. “Isaac isn’t a flashy player, but he is a rock-solid, every-situation player in all three zones and that’s exactly what you want in a cornerstone defencemen,” Burke continued. “He is smart, skilled, tough, and can break up plays defensively and set them up offensively.”

Beraldo appears to be one of the OAs, but it would not surprise me to see the IceDogs start the season with 4 OAs (A.Bruder) – so they can still dress 3 OAs when Tucker Tynan starts.

Beraldo a perfect fit for IceDogs

Burke feels Beraldo will be a key piece of the defence again this season. “As our back end matures, I expect Adrien to be a strong veteran presence on the ice and continue to provide leadership off it,” he said.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the acquisition of another overage forward for a conditional 15th round pick in 2022. Brady Hinz?
Our O/A list now includes,(in no particular order) 1- Beraldo; 2- Doherty; 3- Bruder; 4- Theriault; 5- Murphy; 6- Hinz.

Kinda seemed nonsensical to me

But I mean the cost is basically nothing

So can?t really get too offended by it

Maybe he reports plays well and they can flip him at the deadline for more than it cost to get him

Or maybe he doesn?t report at all

If he reports and plays he?s likely better than what their third OA would be

The one thing that is statistically proven … Brady Hinz is best goal scorer of the six.

Isaac Enright listed on the NHL Central Scouting 20-21 Preliminary Players To Watch List as a “C” rated prospect. A “C” rating means that he’s a potential 4th, 5th or 6th round selection at the 2021 NHL Draft.

#16 Isacc Enright - Defense - Niagara IceDogs
Mobility and quickness are the name of the game here. Enright has the potential to be one of the better skating defenders in the OHL and as such, a very effective puck mover. He certainly struggled at times in his rookie season, both with decision making and in his own end. However, I do think that he improved over the course of the year and that his confidence as a puck carrier really stood out. He also happens to be a right shot defender who can potentially QB a powerplay, obviously a hot commodity. I would imagine that he is given first crack to replace Elijah Roberts' ice time this year and could be the IceDogs QB on PP #1.

Honourable Mention
Giancarlo Chanton - Defence - Niagara IceDogs
