I think it's safe to banish that '?' at the end of ICE DOGS GOOD LUCK CHARM... Maybe replace it with a '!'

He added a little extra tonight but the 5545 in the building ate it up. Everyone felt good tonight, you could tell!

5-0. It's getting to the point where they need to pick and choose when they use him like the Flyers do with Kate Smith. Only the biggest games. Sign him up for game 3 of the next series.

Talk about a bunch of superstitious people. Jesse is not why the Ice Dogs are winning. My school choirs have sung for years at the games and have always left experiencing a win and we've been singing since the beginning. Tonight I tuned him out and couldn't even look at him. Over dramatic! However, maybe that's why we keep winning...the other team is so thrown off by him. Maybe that's it. In that case, bring him back again.

He seems to get the team and the building all charged up. Who knows how much of a difference it makes but is certainly doesn't hurt. I think he does a good job and enjoy the animated emotions. He's never had a problem packing bars around the city when he's playing even with a cover.

I spoke with him in between periods last night and he seems to think they're 7-0 now when he sings. Perhaps we missed one.

We decided to support Ice Dog sponsers and picked up a new Subaru this week. My car is 2-0. New thread worthy?

Of course it isn't Jesse or your school, it is my sympathetic playoff beard and the place I occupy on the couch for the TV games that makes the difference. Sheesh!

The whole atmosphere at playoffs is a carnival (as it should be). You want that extra energy, that mystique that things are somehow different or even better. Any one factor does not change a game but even the players themselves will confirm that they feed off the crowd during the game and if the crowd feeds off the anthem singer, or a playoff shirt, or the band or a song, or a video heckle, or a special visit from Captain Oshawa (shout out), then maybe there is something to it.

It is ok to be sceptical about any aspect of it but I am personally glad that we have a talented singer who puts the extra flourishes into his performance
