Knights ruining Memorial Cup. I was hoping it was about their whining and diving...it's just about them destroying the opposition. |

We scored just as many goals as ALL the *Memorial Cup teams* have scored against them, IN A SINGLE GAME! ![]() |

And that was a game where the Dogs had 4-1, and 5-2 leads.

A disappointing loss for the QMJHL champions. Was rooting for them.

Honestly as much as I don't like London I was pulling for them all the way to win the cup....I have no problem with our boys losing out to memorial cup champions 2 years in a row

I have been routing for London as well...they are an awesome team...fast, skilled and their work effort is second to none. As an Ice Dogs fan I have no problem getting eliminated by the eventual Memorial Cup Winners. Having watched all the games I honestly believe that if we had managed to beat London, we would have had a pretty good shot at winning it all. It is all water under the bridge now and we have to start to rebuild our team and hope they can have another opportunity to play in the OHL Championship Finals within the next three or four years. Go Dogs Go.

I was 100% rooting against the Knights. I find it hypocritical to complain until we're blue in the face about how they build their teams by manipulating the draft, get favoritism from the officials, dive like an Olympic swim team, etc. Then root for them once they are representing the OHL. If it's not fair to the other teams in the OHL than it's not fair to the other teams they face at the Memorial Cup.
They are a great team, no doubt. They steamrolled to 17 straight wins. It might be the best run in the history of the CHL. Could they have done without the draft manipulation? I highly doubt it. |

Did not watch the game taped it while visiting my dad in hospital for his birthday notice London had five power plays again to one for RN also notice RN hit the post a couple of times and Parson made some great saves. I also saw the Knights get that deflection goal again they seem to get every game just glad it was not a blow out but the London boards seem pretty quiet maybe they are counting their lucky stars.
