Was it that bad or just an unlucky hit. Typical IceDogs luck to snag a decent player and he rides the pines for a third of the season. Bright side is Cato will have someone to talk with.

Everything about it was bad.

Blindside hit.
Hit to the head.
Kid goes off on a stretcher.
Kid has to have surgery.
Kid is out for the season.
Less than a minute to go in the game.
Lavoie laughs and puts his hand to his ear (Hulk Hogan style) while kid is lying motionless on the ice.
Lavoie gives high 5 to teammate as he leaves the ice.

There was absolutely nothing to be proud of. As a Dogs fan it was yet another reason to be embarrassed.
