He definitely didn’t play like a 2nd overall pick but he was 1st in points on the team.

While the return was good, you also have to consider that he has at least 1.5 seasons left and maybe even 2.5 season left if he returns as an OA.

I really don’t get the Icedogs plan. If they are rebuilding for next season, why trade away an 18 year old who will be back next season?

Our 2020 draft was suppose to be the players that lead us to a championship. Now we have zero players on our roster from the 2020 draft. I literally have no idea what they are doing.

They are last in their conference too

They have no second or third round picks I. The next three drafts while we do ? for now, until he trades them before the upcoming trade deadline lol

Maybe he surprises us all and keeps the picks and just promotes the third rounder from last year up to the team (I highly doubt it but still)

When he stops trading you will know:
(A) he has ran out of cards, or
(B) the trade deadline has passed.

I can't see any NHL team allowing a WJ calibre player being traded to this gong show. They want their players making long playoff runs, not missing the playoffs entirely.

I can’t see an NHL team wanting that either but the longer he goes without adding someone that would be the only explanation given his history of getting rid of the the just as quick as he gets them (for the record I hope I’m wrong and he’s not trying to get someone from the WJC)
