On a side note The Ice Dogs were 5th in the Eastern Conference last season for goals scored, (223 goals).

That means they probably trade Jarvis or Lewis to put O'Neill in as an OA goalie.

I think you really overvalue these kids and are counting on jumps in production that I don't see happening. McCool and Knott got lots of ice time last year and you saw who these kids are as players and they are not 20 goal scorers next season. Maletta scored 6 goals from November to the end of the season. His production is proven from his three years in the league.

I'm not sure where I said any of the kids besides Verhaeghe and Perlini, who lit it up last year were going to light it up. They don't need to. A slight improvement by 20 different guys coupled with the competition losing some high end guys will make a huge difference. There's a reason several guys on this team will be drafted this year and next. The talent is there. They just need to mature.

I agree this team will suprise next year. He have the whole roster that gave the conference winning team a run for their money, and as Hockey123 said, most other teams will lose key players. We have the potential to add more key guys to the team, but even without them, we will still be a top 5 team in the conference easily.

Ryan Mantha told the Pipeline show on Sat that he will not play in the OHL going the NCAA route North Dakota.
Only thing that might change this is if he gets drafted by a team that wants him in the O

Question where he's playing next year starts around 8:00 min mark.

This interview/article indicates he doesn't know where to play, basically wants the NHL team that drafts him to tell him where they want him to play...
