I am very surprised by this. Fimis was the 2nd overall pick and Castle was the 13th overall pick into the OHL. The scouts must really think they have underperformed. We had so many NHL draft eligible players I can’t believe none got picked for the NHL draft.

Fimis was undersized and under-coached. He only really shone last year when he was paired with Gushchin - and I am pretty sure he'd make ME look good.

Even the last Billy Burke defender can’t deny that the impact of no coaching cost these two. Now ask yourself, if you had a kid that had first round talent. Would you let them report to Niagara?
