Default Jays talk

Right now they're down 5-3, bottom of the 9th. I'm not a Jays fan anymore, but I'd love to see them do well. I used to be a HUGE Jays fan, but that was back in the days of Clemens, Delgado, Shawn Green, Fletcher, Bautista, Fernandez, Shannon Stewart, Conseco, heck even Billy Koch with his 100+ mph fastballs. But that was long time ago...

Delgado started his career here in St. Catharines, as a catcher! believe it or not with the St. Catharines Blue Jays!!

Jays stole one last night and live to fight another day. Be nice if Canada could take it all even if we are only talking baseball lol

It was relieving to hear the one Jays guy interviewed after the game saying "those first 2 games - that wasn't us."

If they can keep the bats swinging hard, they can win again.

Game time: 4pm!

For 2 years nonetheless. 1 Year backing up Canadian Greg O'Halloran and 1 year as the starter. Future MVP Jeff Kent played short the first year.

Just like The Terminator(and I DON'T mean Tom Henke!)...the Jays will be back for one more game Wednesday at the Rogers Centre.

Be there. Aloha.

(FTR: Yes, even though I'm from the States, I'm a Jays fan in LONG standing...old enough to have gone to games at Exhibition Stadium(and gotten the worst sunburn of my life one day)as well as the Cable Box(aka Rogers Centre). It comes and goes, but hasn't faded away. And having their Triple A team in Buffalo certainly doesn't hurt.)

There was no reason to pull Dickey. None.

The Jays were in cruise control. Classic over managing by Gibbons.

Gibbons used an asset he didn't have to use, now he won't be available for game 5.

Even if Dicky was struggling, use your top end relief guys first and if you still need some innings go to Price. The game was well in hand and Dicky was dealing. Completely baffling move.

Gibbons must have wanted to start Stroman in game five and didn't want to ruffle Price's feathers which he probably still did anyway. This team wins in spite of him.
