Not sure if this true but on the OHL Fan forum it was mentioned selling draft picks to offshore money men.

If I am reading between the lines with TDN's post (I am getting good at this) it sounds like the allegation is that people paid for players to be drafted. These types of allegations went around all the time when I was in high school. They were referred to as the "friends and family" draft picks. Players were given the distinction of being selected into the OHL and later the team owner got a discount on a new car, or ate for free at a local restaurant. The addition of the word off-shore is a new twist.

Well I’ll just say it now cause you pretty much said it I was told today that our “new owner” basically did this with the drafts that just happened

I didn't realize the new owner made the draft selections. I seem to remember reading it was the existing owner/staff who drafted people this year?
