If he doesn't make the NHL Senators (and he just might), then you'll see him with Belleville.

Two articles in 2 days for Ben Jones. Looks like he is getting some attention since signing with Vegas. Will be interesting to see how he does this season. Could he reach 100 points, or is he just too defensively minded?

I was under the impression that Brady Tkachuk cannot play in the AHL. Tkachuk was to go to Sens training camp, where he would have either made the Ottawa Senators out of camp, or be sent back to the London Knights. That Tkachuk was ineligible for the AHL Senators for this upcoming season. Just as, a few years ago, Ryan Strome was going to NYI camp to either stick with the Isles, or he’d be sent back to the Dogs. He could not be sent to Bridgeport. I recall Strome making the Isles after his 2nd camp.

Strome was drafted out of the O. Tkachuk can be sent anywhere the Senators want to send him.

Strome was drafted out of the CHL
tkachuk was not drafted out of CHL

HAS HUGE IMPACT due to CHL/NHL agreement

Really hope he ends up in AHL ... but if I had to put money down I’d say he ends up in London ....

Probably! Too much of a pay cut for Tkachuk to play in the AHL.

According to coach Billy Burke, the biggest area of need: “Find players to replace the scoring (Left-hand shot) lost from Corneil and Miletic on the top two lines.”

<>Corneil replaced with Ivan Lodnia, a high-end NHL drafted/ signed player who can play LW.

<>At some point, when Burke is looking for that high scoring left hand shot to replace Sam Miletic, the perfect fit is in Kingston – a trade deadline seller. NHL drafted/signed (2nd Rd) LW Jason Robertson (6.02 / 190) lbs coming off back to back 40+ goal seasons could be that final piece!

Blacksox, you hit the nail on the head.

JASON ROBERTSON, is exactly the impact player Icedogs need.
This would definitely put them over the top!!

Go get Jason Robertson, Mr. Joey Burke

I forgot to add that Kingston would be big time sellers!!

I think losing Lochead was huge. He was the Dogs only real physical presence on the blueline, he was a tough leader that could handle top 4 D-man minutes.
