According to what I read on Twitter, Merkley has been traded for a third round and two valued picks

And the best part is that London used two of our former draft picks for this trade.

Dare say, were they some of the pics we sent them for, say, I dunno, Magic Sam?

Oh just checked, yup, the identified pick is niagara’s, and probably one of the conditional picks was one of Niagara’s too, or if not, it allowed them to use one of their other picks as a conditional

Lmfao

When it rains it pours

Wonder what the conditions are?

London gets him for pennies on the dollar like I predicted and to put the nail in the coffin they use the pick we wasted in that I’ll advised trade

Gotta love it

Stinky must be loving the irony of this trade

Had a chat with a family friend yesterday, Knights season ticket holder, and told him that most of the league feels the Knights get away with a heck a lot in off ice transactions. His answer was somewhat surprising. "Oh we know, and most us wonder when we'll finally get caught."

I think it will ultimately take a Zach Wilkie situation, but likely won't happen because the Knights (Hunters) can and will pay off anyone with any amount of money.

Bottom line here is : whether you like it or not (and not knowing is no excuse) If a deal is made, oral or written, honor the deal, no matter what or pay the price.

He is going to play himself right out of the NHL. Cannot say that I am surprised but, if we remember, I was never a fan.
All the talent in the world but, he is throwing it all away.
