Nope, had his Canadian citizenship before the OHL draft.

Yes you're right Stinky, next year for Maksimov (1999)!

Andrei Svechnikov, the projected second overall pick in 2018, was in consideration as a “player to watch” here, but there is some question as to how much he’ll play. The Russians tend to lean on their 19-year-old players (1998) and those playing at home rather than in North America.

Imagine what this team would be like if we could have persuaded Josh Norris, Trent Frederic and Timothy Liljegren to come to the Dogs. All 3 playing significant roles in the World Juniors and drafted by the IceDogs. Wonder how many of them would have reported to London?

Leafs probably would of got Timothy to go to London because of the hunter boys so 1 for sure but probably 2
