IceDogs Increase Ticket Prices

I see on the Icedogs website that they have increased ticket prices by up to 15%.

Value seats go from 15 to 17 dollars. Ends go from 20 to 23 dollars. Premium goes from 25 to 28 dollars.

That is a huge increase considering the number of people out of work and struggling right now. The premium seats seem really steep for OHL hockey.

Last week I was talking to a friend who said he likely won’t renew his season tickets next year. He said he found the last 2 seasons frustrating and realized after not having any hockey this year, that he can survive without hockey. He mentioned that the Icedogs will have to work hard to get the fans back after 2 bad seasons and then a season with no hockey. Increasing prices won’t help.

Don?t think they will be selling many tickets at those orices for the next year u fortunately

I really think next season could come down to only season ticket holders attending

Unless of course the vaccine is an amazing success story and this time next year there is no COVID... hope that is the case
