WHEN he returns the team runs with the same goalies and Iíd do the same thing to start the year that they did to end it no number 1 if you are hot you play if you arenít hereís your ball cap and if I was running the show Incze is eventually the starter (assuming his game is just as good or better next year) and Iím trading Dhillon

As far as goalie NHL draft rankings, these guy have Dhillon in at no.14. Good write up on his strengths, the only thing I would disagree with is the puck handling, but it does seem to have slightly improved into the end of the season.

His ability to read the play is his biggest strength and the rest of his play style flows from there. His positioning is excellent because he knows where the play is going therefore is able to adjust his positioning accordingly. All his movements are efficient allowing him to move his impressive frame to be square to every shot. Liked his puck tracking as well as it was important in directing pucks into non-dangerous areas. Doesnít play the puck often but when he does heís patient and doesnít throw the puck into dangerous situations. Like how quickly heís able to make small adjusts using his edges that allow him to keep his positioning even on plays involving quick puck movement.

Would like to see more power in his leg pushes as heís keeping his whole body in position while moving but itís not quick, explosive movement. Also has moments where he doesnít treat easy shots seriously and allows out front rebounds when he could easily direct them into the corner or his own possession.

I agree with you on the puck handling and I would disagree somewhat with this ďLiked his puck tracking as well as it was important in directing pucks into non-dangerous areasĒ although heís fine at puck tracking itís not always good he let in a more of the how the heck did that go in kinda goals this year and part of that comes down to tracking the puck as for the rebounds yea he put them in good spots at times (corner or somewhere where itís a bad shot) but heís also kicked or knocked a few straight to the opponent as well

I guess that depends if it's regular season or playoff Dhillon.

Team Canada U-18 loses in the quarter-final to Czech. In the round robin Canada finishes top in Group A and Czech 4th in Group B. Then lose 2-1 in quarters.

Thomas gets 2 points in the tournament and looks like he was left out of the team for the quarters. Injury or didn't perform as expected, as started on 1st line?

Unfortunately, Akil Thomas was injured after only a few shifts playing centre again and with Canada U-18 eliminated - all that is left is the 2018 NHL Draft ( June 22 Dallas). Hopefully, the injury to Akil is not serious.

SPORTING NEWS - NHL Mock Draft 2018 Published on Apr. 25, 2018

23. Anaheim Ducks: Akil Thomas, C, Niagara (OHL)
Thomas is a possession machine who is as good a passer as he is a shooter. He lit up the OHL for 81 points in 68 games ó the most in the league among first-year draft eligible forwards. Thomas owns an excellent shot, but heís adept at stick handling his way to clean zone.
