My top.3 foe a trifecta are Burchell, Oakman and Coulombe... the last 2 games game saw Burchell and Coulombe... the question is do i pray we have a better ref tonight or do i just make a huge wager and hit the jackpot

Actually give the devil his due, Brent Coulombe was not the problem. Even Carbonara chirping him relentlessly didn't tip the scales. That game belonged to Hamilton.

Ill cut him some slack but he got the ball rolling... Hamilton just decided to hog it for the last 2 periods

Well officiated game tonight ... no complaints really and I think the Dogs were thrown a bone on the one goal that was scored against them that didn’t count which was barely goalie interference .... in defeat ... I have to admit ... good job by these two tonight ...

Game 5 was the best officiated game I have seen in the OHL in 11 years! Congratulation and thank you – can’t believe I’m about to write this – Burchell and Cairns!

Burchell and Cairns put their whistles away – and allowed the two teams to play some of the most exciting end to end hockey of the series (and the entire season).

There is a lesson to be learned here – the two teams played hard, at times a little on the edge but never out of control – Hamilton and Niagara were allowed to play hockey and settle the game on their own.

Great game to watch – really enjoyed it last night!
