I don't want to be critical of the security guards, they have an unappreciated (and probably under paid) job. But it was a real mistake to bring that jerk up to the concourse where a big crowd was waiting for him. They should have taken him to the tunnel for his safety and to diffuse the situation.

Has he been outed on social media yet?

He was definitely a London fan. I can't recall any green gear though.

He was not “the” story but it was one the stories of last night’s game. I could see a group of kids sitting near this idiot upset and scared (the parents grabbed their kids and moved them away immediately) – this is not the type family fun experience the OHL is marketing. This whole incident will become a big story and one the OHL/CHL will have look at very closely.

I also heard him doing the same thing after London scored. But to stand up and shout out what he did say when the arena was completely quiet was just a very dumb move. If I were closer to him he would have gotten an earful from me as well. As for arena security they are a joke. Rent a cop at the best. Maybe time to get some real security in there. And the balls that guy had to stand up and clap as they took Tucker off the ice. I would have liked o have throttled him.
