Niagara, ON – The Niagara IceDogs Hockey Club and London Knights Hockey Club are aware of the situation in section 103/104 that occurred during last night’s game. The individual escorted out of the sections has visited the IceDogs office to provide context to his comments. The individual, to the best of both teams’ knowledge, attended the game as a neutral spectator. The individual, with a background in the military, has experience dealing with traumatic medical situations. His comments were made based on experience and fear for Tucker Tynan’s life. It was his intention that his comments get Tucker off the ice quickly, and in an ambulance to the hospital where he could be treated. This was a very intense situation, and reactions were emotionally driven. Other witnesses in the section have come forward to explain the situation, that matches the individual’s statements. It is our hope that, with more context, the individual’s comments can be understood from a different perspective. |

Not to get all doom and gloom, remembering that we almost lost Tucker last night, but, thanks to the work of all the people on the ice and the hospital, he is still with us.
A quick google of recovery time from a torn quad (not a severe as Tucker's injury). I found..... How long does a torn quad take to heal? Your surgeon will remove sutures or staples about two weeks after surgery. Complete recovery takes at least 4 months, but most repairs are almost completely healed within 6 months. It may take even longer to completely achieve strength training and range of motion goals.Oct 19, 2017 Last edited by retired/sectionJ; 12-13-2019 at 05:40 PM. |

I think I would trust the professional medical personnel’s opinions on what to do in this case, as opposed to some ‘military’ nut job’s personal opinion as to the best course of action (someone who obviously is of high morale character given his middle finger salute to the crowd) This ‘explanation’ he offered screams to me that he was trying to save face and avoid potential social media shaming which may have followed What a bizarre night that was Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Then he persisted with more poor behavior. That is when I lost it and started yelling at him with everyone else. Twice in the first period after the two London goals, he nearly broke the curved glass by the London bench. Anyone else witness that too????
