No real indication on fan situation. I believe they're expecting to start without fans and play it by ear.

No indication of what will be done with American teams as the border remains a huge concern. It does sound like they're entertaining temporary relocation of American teams.

#OHL will announce a December 1st start date.

64 Game Regular season.

Expect to see a more divisional schedule as well. #OHL has made it a goal to reduce travel.

With a schedule already crammed just based on time constraints, less travel will help.

Much like what the QMJHL announced.

Jeff Marek just tweeted out the same info as more than a few others.

However(and apologies if this has been said already), there has been talk about what to do with Erie, Flint and Saginaw. There was an idea to have a host city in Ontario but the teams weren't in favor of it.

I simply can?t see the teams crossing the border this season ... I suppose the virus situation could improve in the USA before a Dec 1 start date .... but I suppose the situation could also worsen

I for one am quite fine having the border closed until next year ....

I’m in favour of a border closure in effect indefinitely; until a vaccine is discovered, approved, widely distributed and fully in use in Canada. If that takes 2 years, 5, 10 years, so be it.

An article from the Peterborough examiner, yesterday on the OHL plan to return to play. I hope the link works. LOL

As an American, I cannot disagree with that take. Not one bit. Canada has managed this a HELL of a lot better than Americans have. And that goes even for my home state(New York)-which has had some success after getting completely gobsmacked at the outset.

Honestly, it kills me not to be able to take OHL games on your side of the border.
