Anyone find it interesting that you cant find a quote from DD or the Assistant GM the last like 2 full months. Unless I am missing a source somewhere.

The podcasts last interview with DD I can find was Jan 18th
BP sports had a Q and A back in December
Rod had Consorti on the sports report back in November.

Has anyone found anything more recent?

I think that was published in December.

I have not seen anything from DeDobbelaer recently. Mind you, even in the best of times, he barely speaks to the media and if he does it’s only state controlled media (I.e. the podcast or radio broadcast).

I mean in a hockey related context.

Talking about the season that was. The plan moving forward. What went wrong, what went right (very little but still).

Say what you want about Williamson, Dave Bell, Joey Burke......they at least spoke and spoke regularly. Sometimes it was just blowing smoke but they were accessible - and accepted some critical questions (even if they just shut it down quickly).

Shouldn't the head of the organization be accessible to be asked basic questions about the worst season in Niagara IceDogs history.

If I was the owner of the team, I would have the GM out there fielding the questions and assuring the fans. It would actually be an evaluation criteria for their employment. Now if I was the owner, and didn't have a GM and didn't want to face the music myself, I'd admit I needed to hire a GM and I'd get a good one.

He spoke on the radio during yesterdays game.

I only caught the first intermission interview, missed the 2nd intermission.

It was, not a good interview if you expect any sort of improvement next season.
