Default Denise and Bill Burke: DO IT NOW

I'm speaking on behalf of many die hard, passionate icedog fans that we have had enough of this teams lackadaisical, uninspired, and disorganized play this year. We could see if this was a young and rebuilding team but it is far from that. With 10 drafted nhl players and an older team who was supposed to be the team to beat in the east, it has become very frustrating to watch. We put money in your pockets, denise and bill, and attendance has been great. Teams should fear coming to our beautiful facility but it is a far cry from that!!
SO PLEASE AND DO THE OBVIOUS CORRECT THING AND FOR MARTY'S OWN WELL BEING, HIRE A NEW HEAD COACH.
MARTY CAN STAY AS GM AND CONCENTRATE MORE ON DRAFTING WHICH HAS BEEN VERY QUESTIONABLE.
THE NAME THAT HAS BEEN CIRCULATING ON THIS FORUM IS THE TALENTED TED NOLAN!!!
I KNOW ARE VERY OWN JOHN NEVILLE WORKED WITH TED BACK IN THE SOO, SO PERHAPS HE CAN PULL SOME STRINGS..

Thank you

It's already been stated a few times that even if they went after Nolan he will NOT accept at the cost of a 600,000$ pay cut.. it's simple mathematics. If he is the guy they really want than we either need to appoint an interm coach for next season or hold out one more year with Marty.. at this point tete isn't a coach in the world that can make these boys care enough to put a full effort day in and day out

We the fans\STHs do not run the team . The results will and should dictate what direction a team takes . I don't ever know which team is going to show up on any given game but keep going because I think the hockey is usually top shelf and enjoy watching the visiting team as well . Lets just relax and let owners/management run their business and if it fails , changes should follow . I just hope we go more than 1 round in the playoffs . If we make it at all .

So someone in the media states that Williamson is one of the winningest coaches in the OHL. I'm assuming they are referring to his regular season record. In my opinion that means nothing unless you can follow it up with the odd Championship thrown in here or there. Am I wrong in thinking this way? I know I'm not as smart as the un-objective Icedogs media. Has Williamson ever won a Championship in his years as an OHL coach? Thanks

I posted this on a different thread...

Actually, he would not have to give up any money. Ted Nolan was fired from a binding NHL contract to which the Sabres are contractually obligated to pay in full. If Nolan signs with a CHL team, he would continue to receive payment from the Sabres and the money agreed upon in his CHL contract would either go to the Sabres or directly to Nolan, depending on how his contract is structured. Regardless, Nolan would not lose any money.

As much noise as we can make here, it doesn't matter until Williamson is GONE. Either he steps down, is fired, I don't care. His players have tuned him out; they don't GAS. And if they don't, I don't. My ticket money can be diverted to buy a nice, new Leaf sweater

Are you kidding me??
The results are in already. The club this year has been a huge failure and changes must be made now or the season is toast!
Why wait?
I repeat, this team has 10 nhl drafted players and 3 decent overagers, 2 for sure that will get an nhl invitee, and they are very disorganized, dysfunctional, lack chemistry.
They are fighting for home ice advantage whereas they should be fighting for an east division title!!

The fans will always have the final say, one way or another. Is this organization about winning or what?

Three dog, what we've seen this season is the results of the players trying to 'figure it out'. They need a coach.
