Default Ludzik no long Niagara's goaltending coach

Per the IceDogs Twitter feed, the team released a short statement saying that Ryan Ludzik has stepped down from his position as goaltending coach for personal reasons. The team also thanked Ryan for his hard work and dedication to the team.

As per his instagram, Ryan wants to spend more time with his family and the demands from the Icedogs are not allowing for that. He'll be missed for sure.

Perhaps Jason Barron. Works for Erie right now but is a local guy.

It’s too bad Ryan left. I find the timing quite odd, considering there is only about 6 or 7 weeks left in the regular season plus with this being a go for it year. Is goalie coach in the OHL a full time job?

I hope they find a coach that preaches more of a stand-up and challenge the shooter style of goaltending instead of the go down in the butterfly before the shooter even winds up for a shot style that seems to be the mainstay of Niagara's current tenders.

I refer to the 'Niagara Style' of goaltending 'artful flopping'...
