![]() After last week's performance the IceDogs now cling to 5th place in the East. The team has 29 points and a 0.483 win record. Niagara’s scoring leaders are Thomas (15-29), Tomasino (17-24) and Lodnia (15-16). Tynan is Niagara's prime goaltender (3.80GAA, 0.910%). Only one home game this week, and many teams will be missing their top players courtesy of the World Juniors selection camp. |

IceDogs Week 13
Thomas, Sopa and Chanton are off to their World Junior Camps. It would be great for the IceDogs (all for different reasons) if the three make their respective teams! From the Week 12 CHL Top 10 Rankings, the IceDogs are playing: <> London (#7) <> Peterborough (#10) <> Ottawa (#3) All teams in “go for it” mode, as the 3 teams sit atop the current OHL standings (#1-Ottawa, #2-Petes, #4-London). So, considering the teams the IceDogs are playing – this is good week to look at players (03s) and not for points ![]() London Knights 03 Stuart Rolofs: Pre-Draft Scouting Report https://prospectpipeline.ca/2018/11/...eport-profile/ Peterborough Petes 03 Jon Randall Avon: Pre-Draft Scouting Report https://prospectpipeline.ca/2019/01/...eport-profile/ Ottawa 67s 03 Jack Matier: Pre-Draft Scouting Report HT: 6.03 WT: 180 lbs Jack is an intimidating presence on the back end. He is an above average skater with good mobility, has a very good understanding of the game and makes smart plays both with and without the puck. He is strong on the offensive blue line, has very good composure and makes good shot/pass decisions, especially on the power play. Jack moves the puck quickly and with purpose. |

Last time I was at a game with London a serious looking couple sat down in the seats in front of us. I asked if they were Knights fans and she replied indignant, "why, if we are we can't sit here" . I assured her and her husband they were welcome to sit where they liked, I just hoped I didn't spill my beer. They sat as still as statues and didn't return after the first intermission. Never did find out what team they were rooting for. My wife laughed though, as if I'd ever willfully spill a $10 beer.

I imagine the game is going to be canceled. I don’t know, but I cannot think.. wow. What a horrible accident.

I think as fans, we love our team. But we love the players also as young men. It’s time like this that the game just ceases to matter.
I leave this forum tonight with a lump in my stomach, and just really anxious to find any bit of information that will let me know that Tucker Tynan is OK. |
