Default Tucker Tynan profiled in The Hockey News

Tynan's got a LONG profile in the latest issue(subtitled, of course, The Goalie Issue)which details his comeback from the gruesome leg injury that he suffered nearly 2 years ago in a game against London(full disclosure: I was at the game and I still have the ticket).

This part is interesting: Pre-injury, Tynan would squat 375 pounds and do split-squats with 50 pound dumbbells in each hand. Now? Try 450 pound squats and doing split squats with 80-pound dumbbells. THAT is hardcore.

Also, do not be surprised if Tynan pops up on the USA's WJC roster; he's making a good case. Plus, he's also attracting attention from NHL teams-who are looking to sign him as a free agent this season or selecting him in the 2022 draft.

I will never understand Burkey’s use of his goaltenders. Why he insists on leaving Tynan in for the complete game in 2 blowouts and then does the same to Costanzo in a blowout to NBay. Good for shattering a goalies confidence.

You might suspect that our BB wants the rest of the team to see what happens when they don't do their jobs either.
Do you see?? Strategy at it's finest. That & a string if invectives will motivate a group of teenagers to know what to do
to fix things. Capiche?

Because, quite frankly, Tynan's the best option between the pipes Niagara has. Would you start Rosenzweig in net? Right now, he's 0-2-0 with a 4.27/.843 . How about Costanzo? He's also 0-2-0 with a 5.54/.838 .

Well, we have a 'goalie coach' don't we? What are they allowed to do or what are their credentials?

Were they hired by JB, BB or management?
