That is a shame. I liked watching him play.

Wow, the Icedogs drafted him 23rd overall in the 2021 draft. Then after his rookie season, they give him away for a 4th round pick and a 12th round pick. The Icedogs didn’t just lose this trade, they were completely embarrassed by the trade. I think this could be the worst trade the Icedogs have ever made. Yes, even worse then trading a 4th round pick for Gaidamak and then revealing that he isn’t coming to play for the Icedogs.

I guess it depends on how he develops. Joey clearly liked him more than DeDobbelaer does. I was pretty excited when they drafted him thinking maybe the had a big time tender to build with. |

![]() Can it get any worse? I am not saying he would be the second coming of Mark Visentin but clearly IMO he gave up way too soon on this player. If the return was a deal too good to refuse then sure make it but wow this is underwhelming. For all of JBs warts, I always thought he was the far superior of the two brothers in their roles, man I cannot believe I am saying this, ok I will not say what I was going to say lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

when you see this kind of trade going down. Joey, in his sophomore year, was given coaching & a team to play behind. Couldn't have that in Niagara. |

He certainly would not have got 19 W with this team but I agree with the sentiment of your post There was no need to trade him IMO given his young age and unknown how he would have developed in his second year in the league Instead he overpays for an older below average goalie Like many of his trades there simply was no need for it other than he probably wanted his own guys which apparently he has terrible experience at selecting thee players to be any good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The Flores trade was part two of the trade It made the first trade which initially looked great look not so great But yes I do agree with you otherwise why give up on the younger goalie who was a second round pick and then bring in another below average or average older goalie Pure stupidity IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
