My logic behind it is it did not make financial sense for the Burkes to do it and cannot blame them if that was the case Good to see Saginaw get it especially with the exceptional player who will get promoted like crazy I am sure. They only had two seasons where they made it to the OHL finals. They had zero seasons where their teams finished bottom four. But I guess you are right, they never tried. (insert sarcasm here) I'm not saying that the Burkes were perfect or were geniuses, but they were head and shoulders above what we have now. But at least our new owner put in a bid for the Memorial Cup that had a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding.
