Another dreadful game

I ran a stop watch every time the dogs had possesion in the O zone in the third period. In the first ten minutes of the third it was about 2 minutes or so. Maybe 2.20

And thirty seconds or so of that was one instance of sustained pressure

Otherwise it basically is get the puck in the zone try and make a pass it usually fails they lose possession and the defending team clears the zone

The Icedogs are no where near an OHL calibre team. Most games are so boring I can’t wait for the game to end. What a mess this franchise is in. Is anyone going to renew their season tickets next year to watch this garbage.

It’s almost as if the players hate playing for the Icedogs. I guess having an owner who cuts corners all the time to save a buck has gotten to the team. I can see most of the players demanding to be traded in the off season.

I have been calling out the LeBlancs and Ribau all season. Along with Keane who I do not miss whatsoever, all four are fringe OHL players at best acquired at significant cost. Add in Klein and Hull and that Pod guy and O Flaharty and you have 8 mediocre players DeDummy has acquired who are far below average OHLers.

I dont fault the junior B player call ups they are clearly all junior b talent and they are all playing merely because of the injuries and lack of depth on the roster

No wonder we suck. What a dumpster fire of an organization.

He cannot properly evaluate talent and cannot properly evaluate the worth of such players

A huge reason why we are where we are and why we will be stuck here for the foreseeable future

I will renew. Despite the horrible season and dysfunction we tend to have fun at the games.

Let's look at next season. In our draft 2023 we will have a 1-4 1st overall, a 5th overall, 1 very high CHL import( 2nd or 3rd overall? )
& a high 2nd overall import plus whatever draft picks we have garnered. ( Can someone add this part please? ) There is the question of who will report always in the background. Also if our first rounder will not report do we get another compensation pick in 2024. Or if the 5th overall will not report do we get the 6th overall in 2024? There may not be 'rules' for this scenario. Many questions??

Without a rudder to steer this ship ( scouts, coach, GM ) with OHL/CHL experience where can we hope to sail? If Hamilton is in Brantford for 2-3 years with the upgrades done to their arena before they return to their refurbished home, what are the odds the Ice Dogs are moving to Brantford in 2-3 yrs?
