⚠ The #IceDogs will have an emergency callup tonight in net. Josh Rosenzweig is under the weather so Nick Bolton of the PJCHL Lakeshore Canadiens has been summoned to back up Owen Flores. In 13 games he has a 1.90 GAA, .914 S% & an 11-1-0 record.

With last nights loss, the Icedogs have clinched last place overall in the OHL. Even if they win all 7 of their remaining games, they cannot catch Erie who are last in the West. What an unbelievable disaster this season has been.

I wonder what the result would have been if he did "less"? I don't think the team was bound for the playoffs in any scenario but to have avoided begin such an unmitigated failure would have been nice. Heck, even going back and forth with the ninth team in the conference or nipping at the heals of the eighth is more exciting.

The revolving door of personnel

The exodus of young players in exchange for some awful older players in hindsight has been a very frustrating process

As a fan I would have been a lot happier seeing last years team tweaked and if it was a close race between 8 and 9 and 10 and ultimately out of the playoffs rhat is a million times better than the unmitigated disaster this season has been
