Maybe we should have a forum Christmas party, that way we jab each other in person. Lol. Who wants to organize it? There are so many great and passionate characters in here, that's what makes it so fun. One thing we all can agree on though, we all want our Dogs to win.

Forum party would be a good idea, but I've got family from Europe from the 19th to 29th so I'm going to be busy all days working and nights with them.

A pre-game meet at some pub would be cool. Of course, the O is about to have it's xmas break soon.

Well, imo, the burkes are far from making the big bucks!!!
They made there money already, and believe me it us not from owning a jr. A hockey team in the niagara region!!!
Which has never, ever made anybody big bucks here and why would that change now!!
I'm thankful to them that brought jr. A hockey here once again

Thank you Maddog and I agree with you 100%.

It is pretty much common knowledge that the break even number (bare minimum) is 3000 for each game.
Up until this year, pretty much the only time that the Ice Dogs would sell out was in the new year of every season.
Under 3000 in attendance and the owner loses money.
I am thinking that they might make a couple of bucks this year when all is said and done.
Kudos to the Burke family for bringing OHL hockey back to Niagara.

I just wish they were having as much fun this year as they did previously. It's sad to see them alone in their box with the lights off. In my mind I pictured that area of the arena as the loudest most enthusiastic portion, but that is not the case
