The new bones is definitely not ‘the best mascot in the OHL’ lol

Ya figure that they could find a mascot for a hockey team that could actually skate, no?

Lol

Well at least the new Bones is very visible, up and down the aisles - the kids seem to like it. What drives me crazy is when he's banging and hanging on the boards and the gates - I feel like something is going to break! And yes, he doesn't skate very well, but he does try....

Lower body injury, fell off the railing by the player's bench. Day to day of course.

Not sure if anyone else saw this tweet or reached out to Rod Mawhood, but Rod's parents had been season tickets for every season the IceDogs were here until this year when his dad was diagnosed with cancer. Due to his levels I guess being so low he can't be in big crowds, and arenas would certainly not be the best or cleanest for that.

Anyway, if you see Rod or follow him on social media you might want to send him a message.

We have talked to Rod, our son played hockey with him as kids. Rods mom still attends the games, very nice lady.
