Alex Friesen's dad was at the Team Canada game last night and said Alex is really enjoying and playing well there. By the way, anyone surprised at the score last night? I guess Rod Mawhood was right USports is the best kept secret when it comes to hockey. |

I wasn't. I watched a game a few years back between the juniors and U allstars in Toronto. The U stars lost something like 5-2 but the shots were almost 2-1 in their favor if I remember correctly.
A guy like Garlent was good enough a few years ago that he could have played on that team without really looking out of place. Many of those players would be well above average players in the O right now if their birth certificates would allow them to play. |
