In order to rule out the one-hit wonders, the OHL establishes its actual ranking system based on a minimum number of minutes played during the season. Currently, to be ranked in the top 20 a goalie would have to play at least 1156 minutes (~19 full games). Incze has played only 737 minutes so he would need another 7 full games (now) to achieve an actual ranking in the top 20.

That said, he is currently playing better than Dhillon and I can see the IceDogs giving him a few more games.

Our team played well last night and if not for Culina, we would have won that game.
Incze was solid and I hope the he goes again tomorrow night.

Anyone know what happened to Sam? I hope that it was just a mild case of the flu.

From Matt and DJ on twitter a couple of minutes ago.

Told Sam Miletic is day to day. No fracture or break...

Huge sigh of relief for all #icedogs fans

On the pregame on 610 CKTB Billy Burke said Dhillon was banged up. Not so much that he couldn't play if needed but that they were confident in Colton's ability.

With three more games this week it will be interesting to see what they do with the goaltenders.

I hope that they are confident enough in Incze to go with him again tomorrow. That would give Dhillon a little bit more time to reduce the beinga little banged up issue. And return to 100% again.

I’d like to see Incze get 2 of the 3 but have a feeling it’s going to be the other way around

Mario Culina backstops Kitchener past IceDogs
By Bernd Franke,

http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2...r-past-icedogs

The Niagara IceDogs did everything but win Tuesday night when they visited one of the top teams in the Ontario Hockey League.

They outshot the Kitchener Rangers 45-39 and shut out one of the highest-scoring teams in the league on the power play.

“The guys played hard and we hung around with one of the best teams in the country, but, unfortunately, there are no participation ribbons,” head coach Billy Burke said, “The effort was there and there are a lot of positives to build on, but at the end of the day everyone is disappointed.”

Again, hogwash statement.

You mean, a goaltenders job is to let pucks past him? Its his job to stop the puck, and to win hockey games for his club!!

This whole, “we were the better team on the ice last night” bothers me, is the goaltender not part of the team?

Billy Burke says stupid things, and guys like you buy it up like 5 cent candy.
