I was thinking 5-3 Dogs - 5-4 works too

I would be more than pleased with either of your predictions.

Remembering that our team has traditionally not faired well in the State of Michigan, I had a quick look at the results dating back to the first season here - the 2007/2008 year.

We have played in Michigan - 21 games

We have won 7 games (including last night's game) and lost 14 games.
A win in Saginaw would make for a great weekend.

Reminder to us and the team that last night in Saginaw, Sarnia (Nationally ranked) had a 6-0 lead and ended up losing in overtime.
The moral of this information - "Keep the pedal to the metal for 60 minutes!

Go Dogs Go!!

Here is a copy of what Coach Burke thought about the 3rd period last night and this should help me plead my case here on playing hard for 60 minutes.
That is what we will need tonight... Anyway, we got the two points...... Burke's comment.

Copied and pasted from today's Standard....

A combination of factors contributed to Flint's strong finish.

"We definitely took the foot off the gas a little bit," Burke said. "A rare mental mistake from Stevie (IceDogs goaltender Stephen Dhillon) cost us, and then they get a power-play goal and they got a scramble goal-mouth goal.

"They certainly pressed, and they had nothing to lose.

"If we want to become a mature team, we need to forget about the score."

A win a win great send okay in first bad third period although I thought Flint third goal shave been disallowed I don’t know how the refs did not loose the sight of the puck when the announcer did. Nice looking arena on Flint but a terrible crowd for Teddy Bear Toss. For today game I say 5 to 3 Dogs Saginaw did rally last night but they also blew a three goal lead Thursday night.
