The IceDogs organization usually farms media out to unpaid interns. While this is a nice way to involve students in an exciting industry, a team's "brand" is too valuable to trust to amateurs (hold your coaching comments). This extends right down to the choice of employee to put in the mascot costume (it has been an interesting cast of characters this year). I think working for the Dogs for these young guys the organization is a stepping stone and not a plateau ... wonder if he’s staying in the sports world?

Based on what the coaches decided this weekend, it appears that Tynan has established him as the number one goalie - so he gets all the games they feel they have chance at points - and Sbrags gets the other games. This may also apply to Hunter until he is traded or released.

I don’t see hunter being traded or released because they’ll move Lodnia

The market for Lodnia is getting smaller with Ottawa and Peterborough solidifying their OA positions this week. Still a couple teams that make sense I.E. Saginaw or Oshawa.

I think if he has a good season he will still command a decent return ... I still would have rather they trade him ASAP.
