Overall, very few make it. As mentioned, Dakota Betts, Emett Serensits, Victor Hadfield, Daniel D’Amato are a few that have. However, the most successful U-18 was not part of the draft, but one of the reasons behind the formation of U-18 draft - undrafted Anthony Cirelli. In his midget minor year Cirelli compile an unassuming 9 goals and 16 points in 33 games. A year later, he makes the Oshawa Generals' team as a walk on – the start of an impressive OHL and NHL career.

Do we have any possible candidates for this draft? How many players are each team allowed to pick? Although the success rate of drafted players is not great, we should still take someone as there is nothing lost by doing so.

I actually don't mind Betts. I think the team should pick 3 forwards, or two forwards and a goalie for better camp competition

If you don't pick a goalie in first 2 rounds ...only allowed 2 players

Or you could have invited them to camp last year...

Draft Day 2.0! I think the Dogs pick high in this draft also

as has been noted, a real diamond in the rough - kind of draft. As much as this draft is not usually a highlight in the hockey calendar, but this year, I’ll take anything. Hopefully this online draft goes a little more smoothly than the first one
