Unless someone is a close personal friend of the Fantilli family we will never know the actual answer to that.

Interesting to see the OHL announced their all-star teams and their Rookie All-Star teams. No Ice Dogs or former Ice Dogs on any of them. With all we have heard about strong drafting I am disappointed to see no one recognized. Hopefully with "the best draft in our history" we will see Ice Dogs on next year's selections

Don't forget, there is always an element of politics in these decisions, think 3 star selection.

I?m no GM BUrke pumper that?s for sure ... but it?s easy to cast stones against the team in the first year of a massive rebuild.

How did you expect them to have any OHL rookies names to the team? They drafted late first round and sold a lot of their early picks ... plus any rookies would have far greater chance for success on a stronger team than on a weaker team IMO

And I have to say if Tynan kept playing how he was playing and if he didn?t get hurt he surely would have been the best rookie goalie in the league bar none
