Full disclosure, I, until listening to Jack Studnicka’s first NIA goal just now, was composing a rather angry post. The Dogs certainly have the talent to win as a result of all these trades, but they have nothing but a bunch of really talented individuals.
If the Dogs’ rookie coaching staff can pull all this together, look out. A ton of potential here; the IceDogs are absolutely stacked. This is going to be a heckuva stretch drive.

Couple things 1 who’s the rookie coaching staff? If you watched or even listened to that game then you should’ve seen or heard about the IceDogs dominating the game and Kingston’s goalie being the ONLY reason that was close after 2

Thomas with the Hat-trick and Cheeseburger tonight . Shots were 54-26. Took a while for the Dogs to start scoring but they were dominant and in control. Onto Sudbury .

Good win - McGrath played confidently (after a nervous first goal)- handled the puck well and with confidence. So far so good. Officials were poor again tonight - I know we won, but some of the non-calls were blatant. No wonder Maki gets pissed - three face washes in front of the officials and no calls - holding the stick non-call - sticks just slapping everywhere - late hits, etc. The OHL needs to get a handle on some of the officials prior to playoffs simply for consistency!

My favorite non call was Maksimov getting tripped and knocked to the ice - he gets back up and pushes the other player and he goes to the box for unsportsmanlike conduct. Jones' tripping call was a close runner-up.
