I bet they would be tempted to build an NHL sized arena and screw it all up. Because there is so much growth and wealth up that way that they will assume they can grow into it and peel off enough concerts from the ACC to make it viable. Or if they are smart, create a Regional team, build a 5,000 - 7,000 seat arena that is full more often than not. I believe this is called the "Burke Method"

Burke Method would indeed work but they would have to find an owner with two kids to run the team

That does limit the prospects, perhaps initially the owner could just hire qualified staff and adopt them?
