Even if he did step in this week (highly doubtful IMO) he’d only get a game or two max this year cause they wouldn’t put him in the playoffs unless they have no one left

Myself, personally, I would not dress him at all this season unless it is a dire emergency. Having written that, if the need is there, they have Nardi who has already been christened this year.

My room is set for this season and we will see what he looks like in the fall.

I completely agree I wouldn’t bother dressing him but if they lock up 4th I wouldn’t be overly surprised if some others sit

If 4th place is locked up, I would 100% play him. Why not? What's the down side?

He gets a taste of an OHL game, if he makes a mistake, it won't be costly because the game won't matter. It gives someone like Roberts, Ham, MacPherson, etc a night or two off to heal any bumps and bruises heading into the playoffs.

Why not see what he can do at this level? If he's part of next year's plan, it makes more sense to play him than not.

I agree with you about using him if 4th place is locked up.

Even if 4th place is not locked up, but a game essentially is - dress him and play him during those opportunities.
