The grapevine says that the 'old' coach was a fitness believer & asked the boys to do a lot of conditioning beyond what they were used to in other years. New guy may/may not be following that plan.

and, pretty sure that inflation this year was not 13% because that is the price increase on most concessions in the arena. I do not know if they now charge tax on the beer price as well since well I do not buy beer there any more

They have to be at the point where the price of beer is severely limiting the total sales of beer. Have to say I was a little surprised when I ordered by first beer this year. Normally that does not bother me.

Oh well, I will cut down on the beer and take an edible instead.

I can’t tell you the number of season ticket holders I have spoken to who said they’re not renewing next year. Bad product on the ice and high concession stand prices are sucking the fun out of Icedogs hockey. I sometimes have trouble giving away my tickets when I can’t go to the game. A lot of my friends who usually take the tickets say they have no interest in going this year. It’s sad really.

I am not surprised

I spoke to a couple former STH top who have no interest in returning, they simply have found other things to do with their time / money and do not seem to miss it which probably is amplified when the team is a gong show. These were day one STH too.

The drop off in STH between 2019-20 and what it will be at the start of next season must be an astronomical decline

I think next year a crowd in the 4000s will be a cause for celebration
