Guys I don't know how you can be so cavalier about such an outstanding achievement it is to attain the K-9 cup. I would envision a panel of sportswriters debating the merits of some future NHL players inclusion into the hockey hall of fame. With all statistics being equal, if one of the players has the K-9 cup on his resume, I'm sure that would tip the balance in his favour, LOL. Removing tongue from cheek. Go Dogs Go !!

Unfortunately, I just read that the K9 cup will not be awarded this year. Apparently the Soo Greyhounds have launched a complaint to OHL Commissioner David Branch on the basis that the grounds for inclusion in the K9 Challenge Cup were exclusionary and that Greyhounds are in fact every bit canine as IceDogs and Bulldogs and therefore ought to have been included, especially since their win record against both teams was higher.
