"The IceDogs are excited to welcome aboard DJ Frankie and DJ Sprotto for the upcoming 2022-23 season. 🎶 DJ Frankie will be making his debut for our home opener on Sept 29th!!!"

I wonder what musical treats are in store for us?

I have been very critical of the Icedogs new ownership but I have to give them credit as they seem to be trying to improve the atmosphere at the game. They added a fan camera attached to the scoreboard, which I assume the Icedogs paid for, and now they are adding a DJ. That is good to see.

I'm ok with adding to the experience so long as it doesn't compete with the experience.

What is a fan camera?

Its basically a replacement for the camera guy who used to walk around the stands and show the fans on the video boards. At the last preseason game, almost every stoppage they zoomed in on some fans. It was a little bit too much in my opinion but that is likely because they didn’t have anything else going on during the stoppages since it was preseason.

Zooming in on an unsuspecting (grumpy) fan is likely to elicit a rude gesture.
