ICEDOGS' DRAFT PICKS UPDATED
IceDogs' draft pick cupboard will be updated on this thread. Highlighted red and red players were acquired through the accumulation of draft picks, when the IceDogs traded: Phillip, Paquette, Hunter, Sopa, Tomasino and Thomas.
RED - players acquired with traded for picks. RED - players drafted with traded for picks. GREEN - players acquired with Niagara's own draft picks. BLACK - players drafted player with Niagara's own draft picks. Between Thomas & Lodnia alone the Dogs should be able to not only recoup the missing picks but start stock piling for the future while adding a 03 1st rd player. ...Tomasino ( this year or next year) should be stock pile picks for the future plus a 1st rd young talent. ...With Sopa going for a 2nd and 3rd maybe Castleman goes for a 3rd

ICE DOGS' DRAFT PICKS UPDATED!
For this rebuild, the accumulation of high picks in the next two year immediately stands out. 04 Draft Class 2020: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd 05 Draft Class 2021: XX, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th, 4th IceDogs will be drafting 10 players, in the higher rounds, that we’ll soon see on this team as central players in this rebuild. Joey Burke collected 2 - 2nd, 2 - 3rd and 2 - 4th to compensate for the loss of the 1st in 2021. It is now falls into the hands of the IceDogs scouts to turn these OHL picks into future NHL picks. *** Last edited by Blacksox; 01-09-2020 at 11:40 PM.

Also, the draft cupboard, as currently constructed, provides the IceDogs plenty of currency to "go for it" and acquire high-end NHL talent in either 2022 or 2023 depending on the state of this current rebuild.
