When the IceDogs traded away Phillip, Paquette, Hunter, Sopa, Tomasino and Thomas in 2019-2020, they acquired a lot of picks and those picks are now turning into players…

Noted that Adam Fantilli is playing very well at the WJC right now as well as a high NHL pick in June'23

Can our astute statisticians give us his ( & his brother, Luca's ) connection with the Ice Dogs please? I seem to remember Adam
had advertised he would not report if we chose him in the draft & we did not as a result. Saginaw did however.

Anyone out there who can give us a history for the Fantilli brothers particularly as it relates to the often discussed 'compensation' rule the OHL has for non reporting top draft pics?

I am working on updating the icedogs draft pick stock

What a chore it is

I found a relatively accurate account of what they had before the 2022 draft and have been working my way thru all of their trades

I have finished trades up to sep 27

I have something like 8 more trades to do involving 26 or 27 picks

So I am about half way there

What a chore

I reallly gotta think that Papais and Zito both asked to be moved because it seems so silly to trade them in the same season they were acquired and at the cost they gave up

Or he is about as impatient as a 14 yo girl

Will post it when updated
